Stephanie Robbins and Eve Borenstein to speak on panels at the upcoming TEGE Annual Exempt Organizations Council EO Update, held on March 7-8, 2024

The TEGE Annual Exempt Organizations Council EO Update, hosted by the D.C. Bar Association and located in Washington, D.C., aims to “Explore in detail the latest statutory, regulatory and judicial developments impacting tax exempt organizations”.

Stephanie Robbins will speak on a panel titled “UBIT Feels like a Four-Letter Word”. Robbins will be joined by fellow panelists Laura Kenney of CLA and Preston Quesenberry of KPMG, and the panel will be moderated by Megan Bliss of Caplin & Drysdale. Quesenberry and Bliss are former colleagues of Stephanie’s from the Internal Revenue Service.

Eve Borenstein is the sole host of the panel titled “EO’s & the IRS’s Strategic Operating Plan”. Borenstein states “The IRS’s Strategic Operating Plan includes accomplishing in the next 4-6 years replacement of the Service’s antiquated computer systems. The TEGE EO Council (a charitable organization that fosters educational efforts benefiting the EO sector) has a longstanding history of dialoguing with the IRS’s Exempt Organizations Division and their lawyers in the Office of Chief Counsel”.
